Who saw the BET music awards last night? How funny was Chris Rock (that shouldn’t be a surprising answer at all)? I wasn’t able to catch the full show, but I was able to catch most of the pre-show red carpet broadcast and some of the performances. There were a lot of misses on the red carpet with a few hits this year. There wasn’t a set trend but there were definitely a lot of low-cut long gowns that made appearances on the red carpet. The show itself was quite entertaining (the parts that I caught). My favourite performances of the night were John Legend, Lionel Ritchie and Nicki Minaj (they were phenomenal). Here are some of my favourite looks from last night’s BET Awards (in no particular order):
Does this woman ever look horrible on the red carpet? I love the printed floral dress with the white pumps! Her hair and makeup were also nothing short of perfection.
This man always dresses to impress! This classic chic ensemble made the handsome crooner look amazing! The sunglasses add pizzaz to the look as well.
How stunning does this new mom look? The all white gown with the silver belt is paired perfectly. Her minimal hair and makeup were perfect for this gorgeous look!
How cute does this adorable actor look? I love the rolled up white pants paired up with the shirt and cardigan! The shoes add to the chicness of this whole ensemble.
One of the best dressed of the night, she looks stunning in this navy blue gown with the single zippered detail. The shoes, the clutch, the hair & makeup are perfection.
How handsome does this famous crooner look? This suit is perfect for the red carpet, especially because he was honoured with the Lifetime achievement award!
Gabrielle looks stunning in this high-slit flowy white gown! I love that she went with thigh high boots underneath the slit to make her ensemble look edgy chic!
I love when men experiment with their looks on the red carpet! August’s choice of a light blue suit was a fashion risk which worked fantastically for him!
Have a great day dolls! x
