What Bollywood Has Taught Me…

Honestly, Bollywood has taught me so much throughout my life and I wanted to share with you my favourite lol things I’ve learned! Enjoy! x

You’ll always wake up in the morning super happy and super flawless…

Every monumental moment requires a song. No matter what.

Falling in love will be your ticket to a totally different country filled with couture clothing for you and not much clothing for him because he’s worked hard on those abs.

Being abandoned on an island is no problem at all. You can survive without hunting for food or anything really…(Thanks Kaho Na Pyaar Hai for this one).

The family that prays together, eats together, stays together.

Playing Holi (google it) is SO glam. There’s no clean up or mess involved…at all.

Want to run away from your problems? Get on a train!

All the main leads are unbelievably hot.

Who needs an umbrella when it’s raining…you got love & a coat!

Eat whatever the heck you want because you ain’t gaining a single pound!

The dancing is epic.

SRK is perfect.

Everyone needs to be Poo from K3G

Alrighty, hope you enjoyed all the lols! With all jokes aside, I love everything Bollywood has to offer! GIFS courtesy of Giphy.

Life Diaries: Favourite Bollywood Movies

Here are my most watched and favourite Bollywood movies till date. I’ve tried to link you their wiki page, their trailers and my favourite songs from the movies! Hope you enjoy and watch some of these!

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Why: My favourite Bollywood movie of all time. No one can have an epic love affair like Raj & Simran (the two main characters)…and it’s SRK & Kajol. Enough reason to watch this epic romance!

Favourite Song: I love them all but this one is my ultimate favourite, so much so that it still is one of the most played songs on my Bollywood playlist!

Rang De Basanti

Why: Not only is it written & directed amazingly, the ensemble cast’s acting is incredible. Soha Ali Khan’s break down scene haunts me & makes me teary every time I watch this!

Favourite Song: The whole soundtrack is amazing, but this one is my favourite!

Hera Pheri

Why: You will not stop laughing through this outrageously simple and humorous story. The ensemble cast has one of the best comic timings I have ever seen.

Favourite Song: This one is my favourite because the main characters’ dance moves are too hilarious!

Why: Shah Rukh Khan does such a great job being a villain that you can’t even dislike him. Also, the chemistry between Kajol and SRK is amazing!

Favourite Song: I like them all but this one is my favourite because I used to dance around to this as a kid!

Why: This adaptation of Hamlet is incredibly well executed. Shahid Kapoor’s brilliant portrayal of the troubled main lead proves why he is a talented actor!

Favourite Song: This song showcases Shahid’s impeccable dance skills and is catchy!

Why: Bollywood’s take on the reality behind the lives of models in the Indian Fashion world is carried out well. Priyanka & Kangana’s acting is fascinating!

Favourite Song: Again a pretty amazing soundtrack overall, but this one is my favourite.

Vicky Donor

Why: A simple & realistic yet different type of love story in Bollywood. It’s funny, the acting by the ensemble cast is amazing and the soundtrack is great!

Favourite song: I LOVE this one!

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Why: I have watched this movie a gazillion times and it still never gets old. SRK, Kajol and Rani Mukerji are amazing in this Karan Johar directed movie!

Favourite song: This one is a classic!

Why: This is Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh’s best work till date. This is one beautiful love story full of drama, tears, laughter and love.

Favourite Song: This is one of my favourite songs of all time!

Rock On!!

Why: A great story with an amazing bunch of actors who portray their characters so well that you forget that this is a work of fiction!

Favourite Song: This one will forever be one of my favourite songs of all time!

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Why: Yash Chopra’s last directorial love story with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, & Anushka Sharma is made for the hopeless romantic!

Favourite Song: The whole soundtrack is one of the most played soundtracks on my iTunes, but if I had to pick, it’s this one!

Aashiqui 2

Why: This is one epic & tragic love story, which will touch your heart. The chemistry between Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor is amazing!

Favourite Song: The whole soundtrack is amazing and features my most played song on my iTunes but this one is oh so romantical!

Why: Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham are at their comic best in this hilarious movie. Also, Boman Irani portrays his character so well. It’s funny and cute!

Favourite Song: This one is probably the best song from this movie and also the most known!

Why: Another one of Yash Chopra’s incredible classics. The acting by every single person in this movie is amazing, especially SRK and Rani!

Favourite Song: This one will always make me a bit teary!

Wake Up Sid!

Why: Ranbir Kapoor’s incredible portrayal of Sid is phenomenal! Konkona Sen Sharma does a great job too, making this one of the most realistic love stories in Bollywood!

Favourite Song: This one is beautiful!

Why: Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor do a great job in this movie. Everything from their chemistry to the story of this movie is great!

Favourite Song: This one has to be one of the best songs in this amazing soundtrack!

3 Idiots

Why: This is a hilarious yet realistic take on India’s educational system. The acting by the whole ensemble cast is amazing. The plot and the execution of the story is great!

Favourite song: This one I can listen to over and over again.

My Name is Khan

Why: I sobbed through the second half of this incredibly directed movie! SRK & Kajol are at their personal best and watching them onscreen together is magic!

Favourite Song: I love them all, but if I had to pick the best…this one!

Have a Great Day Dolls and I hope you enjoyed Daff Diaries going Bollywood this week! x (Perhaps, you will see this happening more often in the future!)
