Fashion Diaries: 10 times Zendaya Slayed Her Style Game!

Okay, I know…I know. It has taken me how long to create a post about Zendaya? (in my defense, I totally had a hard time just picking 10 tbh). Zendaya has to be one of the most stylish celebrities to hit the Hollywood scene. This girl takes risks without giving any Fs and frankly, that’s how EVERYONE should go about slaying their own personal style game. She almost reminds me of Rihanna when she first hit the scene. Zendaya not only slays her style game, but she is also one of the most positive role models out there for girls growing up in this social media obsessed world (I can go on about this topic but I shall stick to the point). Here are 10 of my favourite looks Zendaya has rocked (also, so recreatable!):

Denim on denim can look too matchy matchy, but Z shows you how one should style this look! The bold lip and bold pumps, girl…slay!

Legit recreating this look this weekend cuz Zendaya says its cool. Okay, no her effortless chic is at its peak here (insert ALL the fire emojis)

This is the most unique yet fierce look Zendaya has rocked and I’m loving every bit of the craziness here (in a good way duh!). Also, the make up is on point!

I’m green with envy that I can’t look this good stepping out of a Starbucks (see what I did there…okay lamez). I love how voluminous her hair is & those shoes are gorg!

Seriously, can I have her style brain? Like even for 5 min? plzthnx. Okay, if you want to know how to wear bold colours the right way…this is it. Pure perfection.

Oh my, you want grungey chic? Zendaya is going to show you how to rock this rocking look (yup I went there, judge away). Seriously, the pop of pink with the Chanel purse is fabulous!

Keeping it simple and classy here Z. Seriously, an all white/cream outfit never looked this good! Also, plus points for putting the hair up and making the outfit the focal point!

…because she makes this particular outfit feel as if it’s couture! Seriously, Z can show you how to rock a casual comfy look super effortlessly. Also, that hair thoughhhh!

Does this girl ever dress horribly? The grey on grey with the black thigh high boots look incredibly stylish. I love how she slicked her hair back for this look!

Okay, this is another one I’m going to recreate…simply because it’s easy and looks incredibly effortless and chic (yes I use that word a lot, allow it). Also, those shoes!!

Hi dolls! I figured why not start off this week with a major style icon…Jennifer Lopez! Can we all please take a moment and just admire how much JLo’s personal style has evolved over the years. When celebrities were following the trend, she was busy making new ones and that is why Jenny from the block is the ultimate style icon. Everything from her hair to her makeup is always on point, even on days she doesn’t try. Everything she wears, I want to emulate! Below you will find the 10 times JLo slayed her style game!

Kendall Jenner is literally one of my favourite KarJenners out of them all. First of all, have you seen her outfits on the daily? Girl knows how to rock everything from a simple white tee to an extravagant gown. She can make the girl-next-door look so chic without even trying hard. Second of all, I love that she is busy doing her OWN thing. She isn’t relying on the bajillion dollar empire her mom built, but rather she is carving her own path in the modeling world and I for one am enjoying watching this journey unfold! Fashion Diaries: The Best Dressed Celebs at the BAFTAs

The BAFTAs, which is Britain’s equivalent to the Golden Globes, took place last weekend and even though I wasn’t able to watch it, I was able to see some of the red carpet fashion moments. Everyone was dressed to impress, as always and here are some of my favourite looks from that night:

Julianne Moore

How pretty does Julianne look in this red gown? The collar on the dress, which leads to the cutout in the middle of the dress is so style forward. Julianne finishes this look with her signature hair and makeup.

Amy Adams

Amy looks incredibly beautiful at the BAFTAs. The white sleeveless gown fits her perfectly well. The exquisite work on this dress is pretty! The tie up belt is a great accessory. I love Amy’s hair and makeup here.

 Ethan Hawke

Men in bow ties just do it for me (I’m sure you’re getting sick and tired of me saying this). Ethan looks handsome in a classic all black and white suit. He finishes this ensemble with a smolder and perfect hair!

Laura Haddock

Laura looks like a princess fairy in this amazing ball gown! The colour, the cut and the material of this dress is beautiful. She pulls her hair back to make the dress a focal point. The minimal makeup and accessories finish this look.

Keira Knightley

This mom to be looks so pretty! Her ensemble is very bohemian chic yet very elegant for the red carpet! Everything about this dress is adorable. The hair and makeup are very soft and pretty. I love her shoes!

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon brought her style game to the BAFTAs. This deep grape coloured body-hugging super low-cut gown looks stunning! The messy wavy hair and chic makeup are pretty. The minimal accessories are a smart choice.

Eddie Redmayne & Hannah Bagshawe

Aww! These two are so adorable. Hannah looks great in this charcoal coloured gown. The work on this dress is pretty. Her updo and minimal makeup lets the dress be the main attraction. Eddie, as always, looks great in a blue velvet suit! Again, I love the bow tie and the white pocket square!

Rosamund Pike

Rosamund looks elegant, classy and gorgeous in this ensemble! I love the cut on the dress, the triangle top that leads to the halter strap is very stylish! The accessories, hair and makeup are all on point.

Dianna Agron

This red gown looks stunning on Dianna! I love everything about this ensemble. The cuts on this dress fit her to perfection. Her hair, makeup and those shoes are impeccably gorgeous! The arm cuff is the best part of this ensemble!

 David Beckham

Okay, I hope everyone is done drooling now. How hot does David look? All I have to say is David Beckham never fails to impress me. He is one of the most stylish men in the world and this is proof of that. Also, he has a bow tie on!!

Fashion Diaries (Bollywood Edition): The Best Dressed at the Filmfare Awards

As you all know, I’m obsessed with everything and anything Bollywood (you can read all about that here). Since it is awards season in Bollywood as well, I decided to do a best-dressed edition of one of their well-known awards show. Unlike Hollywood, Bollywood awards shows are way more about glitz and glamour. As always, there were fashion disasters (I will talk about one below) and fashion forward moments. Below you will find my best dressed at the Filmfare awards along with one horrifying fashion disaster, which could’ve been avoided:

Randeep Hooda

This adorable & extremely talented actor was dressed to impress in a classic black suit & white shirt. I love that he finished the look with a bow tie & slicked back old school hair, making him one of the best dressed of the night.

Sonali Bendre

She is always dressed to impress, no matter the occasion. In this bright orange gown, she looks great! The smoky eyes, flawless skin, the pushed back hair and choice of accessories looks fantastic with this ensemble.

Fawad Khan

Let’s all take a moment & just admire the hotness of this man. Fawad looks incredible in this 3 piece charcoal grey suit. Everything about this ensemble is styled flawlessly. This dreamboat finishes this perfect look with his perfect smile.

Tabu

This immensely talented actress looked stunning in an all black long-sleeved sequins embellished gown with a cinched waistline. The gown fit her perfectly like a glove. Her side swept wavy hair & bold red lips finish this incredible look!

Tahir Bhasin

How hot does Tahir look? Men in bow ties are perfect. Tahir’s classic black suit is perfect. I love that he went with a cobalt blue pocket square, adding a pop of colour to his neutral look. This newbie is one stylish man on my radar!

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam looked astonishing in this very fashion forward ensemble. I love everything about this, from the colour to the various cuts of this outfit. This fashion risk has paid off immensely for Sonam and she looks fabulous. The accessories, the makeup and shoes are flawless!

Shahid Kapoor

Everything about Shahid Kapoor is hot. I’ve met him before. I’ve hugged him before. Hot. This man cannot do wrong when it comes to style. This classic all black ensemble is on point and of course he added a bow tie, making this even more perfect.

Illeana D’cruz

Here’s another fashion risk taken absolutely flawlessly! Illeana hits it out of the park in this all black jumpsuit. I love the added sheer cape, making it incredibly fashion forward. The shiny gold belt and the low-cut top are done tastefully. She finishes the look with a low ponytail and flawless makeup.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor is perfectly handsome in this classic black suit and tie. I love that he went with a striped dress shirt underneath, which elevates this ensemble’s style quotient. His signature hair, smoldering looks and his adorable wink finish this look.

Patralekha

This is how you wear an off white gown! This super talented newbie brings it to the red carpet. This off white strapless gown has exquisite detailed work all over, making this a very stylish dress. She styles the look perfectly well with minimal accessories, makeup and perfect hair.

My Worst Dressed of the night?

Sidharth Malhotra

Oh my goodness, why Sid?! This very attractive man is usually dressed to impress but this ensemble is just horrible! The “artistic” sweater just doesn’t work and it’s too short for him. The suit jacket doesn’t make the look better at all. If he had gone without that, maybe it would’ve worked. Also, the dress pants are weirdly cropped and not tailored to fit him properly. The worst part about this outfit? The loafers without the socks…ew. Better luck next time, I guess.

Fashion Diaries: Mila Kunis’ Best Style Moments

We’ve known Mila Kunis for her hilarious portrayal of Jackie from That 70s Show. From there on, Mila has ventured on to voicing Meg from Family Guy and other notable movies (her role in Black Swan was pretty great). Not only does she have the acting chops to back up her looks, she’s also got incredible fashion sense. This glamourista is always dressed to impress. Whether we see her courtside watching a Lakers game with her fiancé Ashton Kutcher (How lucky is she?) or whether we see her on the red carpet, she has never disappointed and she dresses well. This new mom has to be one of the stylish women of Hollywood from this generation. All her ensembles are put together effortlessly and she never looks bad. Her hair and makeup are also always on point. Below you will find a few of my favourite looks Mila has rocked:

Mila looks gorgeous in this sequined shift mini dress. The detailed work on the dress is beautiful. Black heels, an updo, smoky eyes and black nails finish this smoldering look and Mila looks great!

This white polka-dotted black flowy dress is very casual chic. Mila looks super stylish in this whole ensemble. The taupe pumps and the dusty blue clutch are paired effortlessly. No accessories, minimal makeup and her hair down finish this look.

This is one of my favourite looks Mila has ever worn! The beige coat on top of the dusty blush dress is so fashionably stylish! The matching shoes and the dark clutch with the black skinny belt is paired harmoniously! Mila finishes the ensemble with her signature hair and makeup.

Mila looks great in this cream coloured pant-suit ensemble. This menswear inspired outfit is put together properly. The earrings, black ring and the studded black clutch match perfectly well with the attire. Side swept hair and her signature makeup finishes this look!

How incredible is this lavender gown on Mila? Mila looks stunning in this fringe and lace detailed flowy dress. The detailed work all over the gown is exquisite! She accessorizes the ensemble minimally, keeping the focus on the dress! Her hair pulled back and defined eye makeup finish up this look!

Fashion Diaries: Kerry Washington’s Best Style Moments

It’s Wednesday and we all know what that means? It’s time to unveil this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday! The sassy and classy Kerry Washington takes this week’s crown. We know this gorgeous actress from her incredible role as Olivia Pope on the hit show, Scandal (it’s so super addictive). Not only is she a super talented actress but she’s also quite the fashionista. This hot mom of one always dresses to impress. Often, I find her to be the most stylish of this generation of actresses. She takes fashion risks, which always pay off in her favour. You don’t see her repeating trends but rather she tries to create them. Her ensembles are always put together wonderfully. Whether she is walking the red carpet at an event or just grabbing coffee, she never fails to impress. All her outfits are always so elegant and classy that I often find myself trying to recreate them in my life. Kerry Washington is one of the best-dressed women on planet Earth and that’s why she’s one of Hollywood’s best! Below you will find a few of my favourite looks Kerry has rocked:

Kerry looks chic in this black t-shirt blouse with a pleated printed skirt. The leopard print shoes and the detailed neck work on her top elevate the style factor. A shoulder bag, curls off to the side & neutral makeup finish the look.

Kerry looks elegant in this white gown. The flutter sleeves & the square neck look great on her. She uses light blue as her accent colour in her accessories. She finishes the look with wavy hair, neutral makeup and a white clutch.

How incredible does Kerry look? The bright yellow printed dress with a low-cut neck is pretty! She uses berry purple as her accent colour, which is seen through her shoes, purse and bold lips. Her signature hair finishes this look.

I love the bold colour of this dress & Kerry looks amazing! The long body-hugging gown with detailed work on the bodice is beautiful. A matching red clutch, defined eyes, light coloured lips and hair pushed back finish this look.

I love how Kerry has styled this ensemble. She pairs a long-sleeved fitted red leather dress with black pointy heels & a black box clutch. Side parted hair, no accessories & a bold red lip finishes this beautiful look.

Fashion Diaries: Anna Kendrick’s Best Style Moments

It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time to reveal who’s this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday! It’s none other than the gorgeous and talented Anna Kendrick. We first got to know of her from her role in the Twilight series but we all know her from the musical hit Pitch Perfect. Not only is this fashionista a great actress, she also has an amazing voice (seriously, who isn’t addicted to the Cups song from PP?). Apart from being a talented superstar, she is also a budding fashionista. Anna loves to take fashion risks when it comes to her ensembles. Whether she’s walking down the street or strutting her stuff on the red carpet, she always brings her A game. I’ve rarely seen her look bad and everything from her hair to her makeup is always on point. These are a few reasons why she is starting to become one of Hollywood’s best dressed actresses of this generation! Below you will find a few of my favourite looks Anna has worn:

Anna looks stunning in this strapless red flowy gown with lace detailing cutouts. The swept back hair, the defined eyes and fresh face makeup is flawless. A black clutch and numerous rings finish this pretty look!

Anna’s fitted nude and black embellished dress is gorgeous. The cutout bodice is pretty and she looks beautiful! She finishes this look with side parted loose waves, neutral makeup, minimal accessories and a black clutch.

How pretty does Anna look in this lavender/blush toned dress? The front slit is classy, showcasing her metallic strappy heels. The cutouts and embellishments are pretty! Side swept waves, minimal makeup and accessories finish this look.

It’s really hard to make a bright yellow dress work but Anna hits it out of the ball park here! The loose waves, her signature makeup and nude pumps work harmoniously with this bright yellow drapey yet body hugging mini dress.

This is one of my favourite dresses Anna has worn. The nude/blush mini dress with silver embellished work is gorgeous! She keeps it simple with hair down in loose waves, a golden clutch, minimal makeup and pointed heels.

Anna’s printed low-cut mini dress looks splendid! The strappy black heels and no accessories makes the dress a focal point. Messy hair and her signature makeup finish up this beautiful ensemble. I love Anna’s cute shoes!
